Respond to our Survey for Cities and Regions!

If you are city or region, please provide your views on challenge priorities by filling out this brief online survey. It will only take around 5 minutes of your time. The survey will close on the 11th of October 2024. If you are a company, non-profit organization or a research institute representative, please fill out this survey!

The EU-funded SPACE4Cities project aims to solve challenges faced by European cities by using European satellite data. It does this by challenging Suppliers to develop innovative solutions to solve or mitigate said challenges.

Over the last few months, we have organised a series of webinars on the topic, and more than 650 participants attended, of which many from from cities and regions throughout Europe. We sincerely hope you had a chance to participate in one or more of these, learn about the relevance of space technology for cities and were inspired by the “art of the possible”.

The time has come for us to learn from you – and for you to influence the future!

As you may know, our consortium is launching a Pre-Commercial Procurement tender for suitable solutions early next year worth 2.8 million Euros! The five so-called Procuring Partners – from Helsinki, Amsterdam, Ghent, Athens (Attica region) and Guimaraes – have identified a set of common urban challenges that future suppliers should tackle.

Before we finalise the call for tenders, we want to make sure we are tendering something that every city in Europe can benefit from – not just the project consortium members. You can even join us as a replicator city next year.

Therefore, if you are city or region, please provide your views on challenge priorities by filling out this brief online survey: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/eca3e563-10f4-36dc-f1e7-ace4e96e89f4. It will only take around 5 minutes of your time. The survey will close on the 15th of September 2024.

This is your opportunity to influence the challenges we will present to the suppliers and the solutions that will ultimately be developed! Feel free to also share the survey within your organisation. The results will feed into the finalisation process of our Call for Tenders, which is due to be published in early 2025.
