88th Thessaloniki International Fair
This year’s Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) is the 88th edition of the annual week-long festival held on 7.-15.9.2024! 88th TIF brings together a variety of societal and academic topics related to the country’s modern challenges and critical sectors of the economy, emphasising new technological tools, innovation, and sustainable development. SPACE4Cities partner Regional Development Fund of Attica Region (RDFA) attends the Thessaloniki International Fair this year!
What is particularly interesting about Thessaloniki fair making it truly intersectional are the parallel events and exhibitions with music and freetime activities alongside academic and societal topics in the festival program. Hosting numerous B2B and B2C events, as well as a variety of entertainment activities for the public, the 88th TIF welcomes exhibitors and visitors to the city’s biggest celebration! In this year’s TIF the honoured country will be the Federal Republic of Germany under the title ”made in Germany”, with exhibits and services of leading domestic entrepreneurship companies will be presented.

Interested visitors can get their attendance tickets from here! If you’re an organisation wishing to have an exhibition booth in the event, please check here for availability!
The purpose of participation for SPACE4Cities is to disseminate the project as a key initiative of RDFA, in the domain of public space management, sustainable urban development, climate change adaptation and resilience and quality of life improvement in urban areas, while promoting state of the art technologies, research and innovation around satellite data usage, aligned with our Regional S3 priorities.
By participating in TIF RDFA seeks to:
- attract interested private sector entities as potential suppliers and raise awareness about the ongoing SPACE4Cities Open Market Consultation.
- increase awareness about the project and their potential benefits among other cities & regions which are also attending as exhibitors in the fair (potential replicator cities).
