BASS Conference – Towards a Space-Powered Economy

Harwell, UK, 25–26 November

What do our future cities look like? How can we address the greatest environmental challenges of today? How will innovations in space applications change society?
These questions and many more will be discussed at the ESA-organised BASS Conference in Harwell, UK, next week and SPACE4Cities will be in the midst of it.

With a theme titled “Towards a Space-Powered Economy” the conference will focus on using space data and space technologies to tackle the multiple challenges facing our societies, from climate change and urban growth to the energy transition and protecting the environment.

Dr Alex Gluhak from Open Agile Smart City will represent the SPACE4Cities project to share details about our upcoming pre-commercial procurement tender with attending space SMEs and innovators.
